1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Services

The One Rupee App is a platform that enables you to contribute a small daily amount of ₹1 (or other amounts as you may choose) to support various humanitarian causes focused on nutrition, education, healthcare, and infrastructure for the underprivileged. Through the App, you can:

• Sign up and create an account.
• Choose to make recurring daily contributions or one-time contributions.
• Select the specific cause(s) you wish to support from the available options.
• Receive updates on the impact of your contributions.

3. User Accounts

• Eligibility: By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• Account Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when creating your account and for keeping your account information up-to-date.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

4. Contributions

• Contribution Amount: You can choose to contribute a fixed daily amount (currently highlighted as ₹1) or make one-time contributions of varying amounts as offered within the App.
• Payment: Contributions will be processed through the payment methods you select within the App. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the contributions you elect to make.
• Recurring Contributions: If you choose a recurring subscription, your nominated account will be charged automatically on a daily or other agreed-upon basis. You can manage or cancel your recurring subscription at any time through the App.
• Tax Deductibility: Please note that 50% of the amount you donate may be eligible for tax exemptions under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, in India. We will provide necessary documentation as may be required.
• Use of Funds: We are committed to ensuring that your contributions are directed towards the intended humanitarian programs in nutrition, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. While you can choose the cause you wish to support, the ultimate allocation of funds will be at the discretion of the organisation managing these programs to ensure the most effective impact.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the App and Services in a responsible and lawful manner. You shall not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the operation of the App or the Services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or any other user's account.
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Engage in any conduct that is abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display, or in any way exploit any of the content without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE IMPACT OR OUTCOME OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF CONTRIBUTIONS YOU HAVE MADE THROUGH THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms or your use of the App and Services.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App and Services at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App and Services will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms within the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
